As 2018 is drawing to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients and professional connections for their support this year.
It’s certainly been an interesting year in the markets amidst political uncertainty, Brexit, Trump and trade wars to name but a few. However, we’ve been fortunate enough to keep very busy working with our clients and preparing for numerous regulatory changes with the introduction of MIFID II and GDPR!
It’s been a fantastic year for achievement, with Springfield bagging a whole host of awards. Earlier this year we were named as Adviser Firm of the Year North West at the Professional Adviser Awards, Vanessa was presented with the title of Retirement and Later Life Specialist of the Year 2018 and more recently she was named as ‘One to Watch’ at the Growth Investor Awards.
We’ve enjoyed lots of other successes, with Jenna gaining her Chartered Financial Planner status and Vanessa passing her pension transfer exam. We are also proud to have had our corporate Chartered status renewed by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Events and Charity Support
It’s not all been about work though as we’ve taken part in lots of exciting events, including our continued Team Springfield cycling events and some 5k and 10k runs!
We’ve also enjoyed being able to support a range of charities and campaigns. Back in June, the team participated in the Cancer Research Pretty Muddy event and we’re proud to be continued supporters of Dementia Friends. More recently, we’ve become involved in the Mental Health ‘Don’t Lose it’ campaign and we’re again a designated drop off point for Rock FM’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
It’s been another fantastic year and all the team are ready for a well-deserved break! Our offices will close for the Christmas holidays at 4pm on Friday 21st December and will reopen at 9.00am on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and very best wishes for a healthy and prosperous new year!
