Congratulations to Tricia Donohue who has recently passed the R08 Pensions Update Programme exam.
By completing this programme, Trisha has demonstrated that she has the knowledge and understanding of the changes that have been introduced by the Taxation of Pensions Act 2014, changes to the State pension provision from April 2016, as well as the key factors to consider when advising clients on their retirement income.
The R08 Pensions Update Programme is run by the Chartered Insurance Institute, the world’s largest professional body for the insurance and financial planning professions, so Tricia has done extremely well to pass this important exam.
Tricia has over ten years’ experience in the financial services industry and she joined the team at Springfield Financial Services back in January 2016. Tricia is qualified to Diploma level via the Chartered Insurance Institute and she is progressing towards Chartered status.
Following a brief career in retail, Tricia joined financial services in 2006. Working initially in administration whilst she studied towards her professional qualifications, she then went on to assist advisers in a technical capacity as a Paraplanner before moving on to an advisory role.
Tricia advises on a wide range of areas including savings and investments, retirement options, pensions and estate planning.
Tricia has a teenage son, spends a lot of time completing home improvements on her Grade II Weaver’s Cottage, and has recently completed the couch to 5km run challenge!
We’re really excited to see what the future holds for Tricia. Watch this space!
